Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder - Winona Lauro Horowitz - was born at Winona Minnesota. Her parents, Winona Ryder's parents, named her for the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz is her father, while Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's mother and father also happen to be Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. Ryder relocated together with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. In those days, there was no electricity. Ryder was a consummate bookworm and would spend her days studying books since there was no TV. Ryder was 12 when she took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Lucas was let go in 1986 and Ryder, then only 15, landed a role as a leading actress. Ryder suffered bullying in the high school. Her hope was that her career in acting would change that. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. However, she continued to pursue her dreams. In 1988, the year that Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that was her breakthrough. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in various films. He was nominated for two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
